Location

Your home for the retreat is Podere Macchione, set amidst rolling cultivated hills that are interspersed with vineyards, olive groves and fields of poppies and sunflowers. Stately cypress trees line many of the area's lanes, and there are castles, villas and farmhouses scattered around the countryside. It's in close proximity to Chianti, the famous wine region of Tuscany. Also nearby are the well-known towns of Montalcino and Montepulciano, Arezzo and Volterra, not to mention Florence.

Podere Macchione is an old farm and farmhouse that was purchased in May 2016 by British couple, Cally & Nick Albrecht and they have created the most magical space.  

Accommodation is in luxury private or shared (twin or triple) bedrooms. All rooms have their own en-suite bathroom with a shower or a bathtub. All bedrooms are bright and airy with farmhouse-luxe styling. Natural materials and earth tones have been used throughout to offer a calm and restful space.
