“Mandi, I commend your absolute dedication to building a wonderful business and am so thankful for the opportunity to attend such an  inspiring retreat. You provided an incredibly nurturing space for rest and repair with enormous integrity. What a beautiful experience!”

“The yoga retreat was amazing. We were all made to feel so cared for and nurtured. The villa was stunning and very comfortable. Our days were beyond relaxing yet they flew by. Meals were delicious and our chef was beyond excellent. Mandi, Cally & Kate were a brilliant team - thank you for an unforgettable week.”

“I attended the yoga and meditation retreat with my two sisters. We live at opposite ends of the world. It was the most incredible journey both personally and together and we learned so much from breath work and journaling to cooking and wine tasting! What an incredible group of women that I can now call friends. The property and management is very personal, warm and caring. I am so glad I went and cannot wait to repeat this amazing experience.”

“What an incredible experience and I would highly recommend Nourish Travel. The stay was organised to perfection and I felt renewed after just one day at the beautiful Villa Macchione. The yoga and mindfulness sessions were exceptional as well as the delicious meals. Thank you for such a memorable week and experience!”

“It was my first writer’s retreat. I had a great time discovering how to unblock my writing and as well relax and enjoy the Tuscany beautiful landscape. The yoga sessions were excellent, the food was excellent and the overall organisation of the retreat was above my expectations. Thank you for the great time I had and for being outstanding in terms of taking care of everybody’s needs, and doing it all with love.”

“Loved this retreat. I had never considered going on a retreat, it was a spur of the moment decision, but so glad I did. I came home feeling inspired and refreshed. The care shown to provide a quality experience by Mandi, Cally and Riccardo was shown in all the small details. Highly recommend Nourish Travel.”

Location

Podere Macchione is located in the province of Siena, on a farm estate called ‘San Fabiano’, just outside a small town called Monteroni d’Arbia.

In the heart of Tuscany, Monteroni d'Arbia is located in the middle of this famous region. Near the splendid city of Siena, it sits on the ancient Via Francigena, one of the famed roads that led to Rome.

Monteroni d'Arbia is set amidst rolling cultivated hills that are interspersed with vineyards, olive groves and fields of poppies and sunflowers. Stately cypress trees line many of the area's lanes, and there are castles, villas and farmhouses scattered around the countryside. It's in close proximity to Chianti, the famous wine region of Tuscany. Also nearby are the well-known towns of Montalcino and Montepulciano, Arezzo and Volterra, not to mention Florence.

The farm is around 14 hectares and is made up of some agricultural land (with a lavender field and an olive grove) two areas of woodland, a small lake and garden areas. There are some lovely walks both within the farm property and in the surrounding area.
The nearest town is around 5 km (Monteroni d’Arbia) and is well serviced with supermarkets, banks, bakery, gelateria etc.
